HOW TO CHOOSE A FRAME
Choosing a right eyeglasses frame for your face depends upon how different frames compliment your facial structure.

The size of the eye glasses frame should be in proportion to face size, as an oversized frame will make your face appear diminutive. Despite the shape of the frame, your eyes should be centered within the lens opening of the frame. The eyeglasses frame should be wide enough so there is just slight clearance between the frame temples and the sides of your head. The size and weight of your eye glasses should be in proportion to your body size and weight. If you have a slim or small build then you should choose thinner or more delicate frames for a balanced look.

The anti reflection lenses are the lightest lens available. You can even choose plastic lenses with anti reflective coating for the perfect appearance. If you are having the bifocal prescription for your eyeglasses then you can also choose the progressive lenses to avoid the old- fashioned bifocal  lines in your eyeglasses frames.

In general, the most appropriate eyeglasses frame shape is the opposite of your face shape. For example Angular-shaped faces look better with rounder frames. Softer, fuller faces are superior with sharper-edged frame shapes. After choosing the best frames which suites your face, you need to choose the correct color of your eyeglasses. If you prefer a colored frame, opt for one that enhances skin tone and hair shade, rather than just choosing the trendy "color of the moment."

Our faces are not always in perfect balance, so be sure glasses rest evenly on ears and that they cross your eyebrows at the same level to avoid a seesaw effect.

The eyeglasses frames color should praise the skin. Skin tone is broadly mentioned as warm or cool. A warm skin tone has a bronze, golden, or "peaches and cream" cast. A cool skin tone has blue or pink undertones.

Most eyewear experts have the same opinion for the frame colors, which best complement each skin tone as follows.

Frame colors for warm skin tones

Gold, Bronze, Copper, Tortoise, Brown & Aqua.

Frame colors for cool skin tones

Silver, Blue, Blue-grey, Pink, Violet & Charcoal.

The procedure above will help you select frame colors that are the ones most likely to complement your appearance. However sometimes you may wish to break the above "rules" for a more spectacular look. If you like the look, then go for it.
